We administer Limited Examination Appointment Program (LEAP) Exams for all our department specific classifications. LEAP exams are an alternate examination and appointment process for the recruitment and hiring of individuals with disabilities into State service.  Please for LEAP certification.

  • SPB laws and rules require that appointments and promotions within the State civil service be made on the basis of merit. If an applicant or employee feels that this has been violated by the ÐÔ¸£±¦app Community Colleges Chancellor's Office, they must first file a complaint with the Chancellor's Office's Human Resources, People and Culture Operations (PCO) Office within one year of the alleged act.

    The Chancellor's Office PCO has 90 days to research the complaint and issue a response, including appeal rights.

    An applicant or employee may challenge the decision to the SPB Appeals Division within 30 days after (1) Chancellor's Office denies the complaint or (2) the 90 days expires without Chancellor's Office decision on the complaint.
