The safety and well-being of your child(ren) is our highest priority. We are writing this letter to inform you about safety and evacuation drills that will be conducted throughout the school year.

September is National Library Card-Sign-Up Month and to celebrate, the ÐÔ¸£±¦app Free Library is encouraging residents to register for a card, update existing cards, and/or bring a friend to register.

This is a friendly reminder that our first day of school for students is tomorrow, Thursday, September 5th! All schools are scheduled to operate on a regular school schedule.

ÐÔ¸£±¦app Free Academy will host 9th grade orientation for incoming high school students on Thursday, August 29th. Click the appropriate link below to learn information for your child's school.

ÐÔ¸£±¦app high school students can come to their ÐÔ¸£±¦app campus on Wednesday, September 4th from 1PM to 3 PM to pick up their schedule for the new school year and their ID card. Schedules are also available through the Student Portal.

The ÐÔ¸£±¦app Enlarged City ÐÔ¸£±¦app District (NECSD) is leading the way taking charge of a hot topic in education. The use of cell phones in schools is a popular subject and NECSD's implementation has been featured widely.

August Graduation for the Class of 2024 candidates will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 10:30am on Academy Field. We look forward to completing ÐÔ¸£±¦app Free Academy's class of 2024!

The ÐÔ¸£±¦app Enlarged City ÐÔ¸£±¦app District and ÐÔ¸£±¦app Free Library, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Big Read are collaborating to provide programming to our community.

All August Regents exams will be held at ÐÔ¸£±¦app Main Campus on Monday, August 19th and Tuesday, August 21st.

ÐÔ¸£±¦app NYGEAR UP kicked off this year with a bang. It began with an introduction of NYGEAR UP to our 8th-grade cohort, which consisted of over 850 scholars from 4 different middle schools
