  • To provide a holistic approach to the ÐÔ¸£±¦app community colleges’ work on student success, the Chancellor’s Office worked with a broadly representative group of practitioners to develop Student Success Metrics. Organized around common goals such as adult education/ESL, short-term career education, and degree/transfer, the metrics capture progression along students’ educational journey from recruitment to completion, transfer, and the workforce. Student Success Metrics pinpoint critical milestones and accomplishments that are foundational to the goals and outcomes for student access, success and support presented in Vision 2030.

  • The Salary Surfer uses the aggregated earnings of graduates over a multi-year period documenting how much students earned two years and five years after receiving a certificate or degree in certain disciplines. This tool also provides information on which colleges offer programs in those specific disciplines and videos about these programs.

  • Data Mart provides information about students, courses, student services, outcomes, faculty and staff. The emphasis is to answer the questions of administrators, educators, parents, students, state leaders and professional organizations.

  • Provides access to referential data files, categorical pre-allocation data files, Scorecard data files, Perkins Core Indicator data files and custom student data files and reports.

  • The Data Element Dictionary provides a description of the System Office Management Information System and the technical specifications for the data to be collected and reported to the state. Appendices provide codes and additional reference information.

  • The LaunchBoard, a statewide data ÐÔ¸£±¦app supported by the ÐÔ¸£±¦app Community Colleges Chancellor's Office and hosted by Cal-PASS Plus, provides data to ÐÔ¸£±¦app community colleges on enrollment, progress, success and employment outcomes for all community college pathways. The LaunchBoard includes dashboards and planning tools specific to the Adult Education Program, Strong Workforce Program, K-14 CTE Pathways, Guided Pathways and the Simplified Metrics, as well as a program review tool called the Community College Pipeline.

  • Cal-PASS Plus provides actionable data to help improve student success along the education-to-workforce pipeline. In addition to the LaunchBoard, it includes reports on topics such as transition from K-12 to college and STEM.

  • The CTE Employment Outcomes Survey is a statewide study to assess employment outcomes of students who have participated in career technical education coursework at ÐÔ¸£±¦app Community Colleges. Data tables and visualizations allow the public to access survey results.

  • Student Centered Funding Formula Dashboard

    The Student Centered Funding Formula (SCFF) was adopted in the 2018–19 state budget as a new way to allocate funding to community college districts. The SCFF provides funding that supports access through enrollment-based funding, student equity by targeting funds to districts serving low-income students, and student success by providing districts with additional resources for student’s successful outcomes.

  • Transfer Level Gateway Completion Dashboard

    The Transfer-Level Gateway Completion dashboard provides completion rates of transfer-level English, mathematics (or equivalent quantitative reasoning course), and credit ESL starting from students’ first course enrollment in the discipline (whether at or below transfer-level ).
